Reviews
Every review we receive is published, including the critical ones. Below is a straight summary of where we stand, what people consistently like, and what they have told us is not good enough.
Where we stand today
- Heliored Dual Light Therapy Oral Device — 24 reviews. 92% rated it 5 stars.
- Helioblue Whitening Elixir Applicator — 4.88 out of 5 from 8 reviews.
Those are small numbers and we are not going to dress them up. We are a young UK brand and the honest position is that we have fewer reviews than the large US light therapy companies. What we can offer instead is that none of ours are filtered.
What people consistently say they like
Build quality. The most common theme by some distance. "So beautifully made and easy to use."
Ease of use. Put it in, press the button, the 15-minute timer runs and switches itself off. Several people have contrasted this with devices that require holding something steady or aiming it.
It fits into a routine. The hands-free design means people can do something else during a session, which is the difference between a device that gets used and one that sits in a drawer.
What people have told us is not good enough
This is the part most brands leave off a reviews page.
Charging case reliability. One customer's charging case stopped working after five days. We replaced it. It is the single most common hardware complaint we have had, and if it happens to you, contact us and we will replace it.
Battery life. One customer reported the charge not lasting as long as expected. We reached out to check the device was performing correctly. If your battery life seems short, tell us rather than living with it, because it usually means something is wrong with that unit.
Both of these are real, both are in our published reviews, and we would rather you knew about them before ordering than after.
On results, and being straight about timeframes
A recurring and entirely fair theme in early reviews is people saying it is too soon to comment on results.
They are right to be cautious, and so are we. Clinical studies of photobiomodulation in periodontal care typically run four weeks at minimum and often twelve. Anyone promising visible gum changes in a fortnight is overselling.
If you want a way to actually track it, note whether bleeding when you clean between your teeth changes over a couple of months. It is the most useful home marker there is, and it is the one your dentist measures too.
We would also rather say this plainly: light therapy is a supportive tool. It does not replace brushing, cleaning between your teeth, or your dentist, and it does not reverse gum recession. We wrote about that here.
Leaving a review
Reviews appear on each product page and you can leave one there. Please be honest. If something has not worked for you we would rather hear it, and we would rather other people saw it, than build a review wall that does not reflect reality.
If something is wrong with your device, contact us first — most issues are a hardware fault we will simply replace.

Treat the Body as Whole
PBM (Photobiomodulation) helps treat the mouth as part of the whole body by promoting healing at the cellular level, addressing the root causes of dental issues like inflammation and infection, rather than simply masking symptoms or relying on constant fillings and periodontal treatments.
